This administration has been vicious in its attacks on anyone who questions them or doesn't toe the company line.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.

As we are finding out they are much more vicious than previously thought. First amendment violations out the wazoo, targeting opposition groups ny the IRS.
The most crooked administration in my lifetime, which says a lot since LBJ was president when I was born, and Nixon followed.

Re: Fast and Furious back in the News at least at Fox
I hope they keep it on the front burner until everything is turned over, which won't ever happen. But the GOP is too spineless to keep it going,

Re: Fast and Furious back in the News at least at Fox
This one isn't on the GOP really. It's on the American people and their complete inability to keep focuses on anything for more than 10 minutes, and the media that is more than happy to avoid covering anything that would hurt Obama. If you beat on these things you quickly get seen as being out of touch and irrelevant b/c it's not about health care or the economy. A scandal will sell for a while, but not very long, this last round of them are already out of the public mind, and F&F is years old. No matter the truth of it once it has some age people don't care.
In this case that mentality is compounded by a an anti-gun media that has no intention of covering the story honestly or making Obama or the ATF look bad. How does the GOP keep this in the public eye if CNN and the rest won't report it, won't interview anyone on it, won't question the President about it? They really can't, and even if they could the American people would see it as tertiary to the issues.People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.

Re: Fast and Furious back in the News at least at Fox
Although it should matter, it doesn't with most people. And nothing is going to be done because no one in Congress has enough stones to do anything besides talk tough, and that's it. All talk, no action. No courage to do anything meaningful. So basically this crew of Chicago thugs can do anything they want to do with zero accountability.
Benghazi? Nothing is going to happen. The IRS situation? Nothing is going to happen.
Our country is being run by Chicago gangsters, and our Congress is overrun with cowards. Nothing is going to be done about any of this.MOLON LABE!

Re: Fast and Furious back in the News at least at Fox
Part of the issue is that over the past 5 years, many on the right have tried to make issues were there isn't one. From birthers to too much golf, its a boy who cried wolf situation so that when something of real substance does develop its lumped into the just trying to fabricate something pile.

Doc, I agree, but with one caveat, and that is much of the MSM still tries to make Jessee and Al relevant while making the GP look irrelevant

Re: Fast and Furious back in the News at least at Fox
I don't disagree but we all have an agenda. IMO, so what. MSNBC, CNN, FOX, etc all have their slants but when conservative gives the liberal media an excuse to ignore what going on then its hard to place the blame 100% at the media's feet. When conservatives make an issue of stupid **** like the dog flying on a separate plane to vacation etc, then they have nobody to blame but themselves. For 5 yrs the GOP has found or created bull#### excuses to be critical, issue that are ridiculous, so why should anybody be surprised when real issues are ignored?

Re: Fast and Furious back in the News at least at Fox
that sounds good, and I agree as far as it goes, but it only explains a small percentage of the media complicity we see with this Administration. We're not talking about randome people on the street for which this is all background noise. The media in question work in it every day and know the difference between the dog story and F&F or the IRS situation or most of all Benghazi. It's their JOB to look at these things and separate the wheat from the chaff, the silly dog story statement from some Representative to 4 body bags coming back from Libya.
There's a lot more to it than just the GOP crying wolf, b/c we're talking about people who are supposed to be out there wolf hunting, not the silly townsfolk.
Both sides engage in this silly crap all the time. The NAACP wants a DOJ investigation of a guy at a rodeo wearing an Obama mask, as if we didn't see Bush II masks all over the place (including national TV shows) doing caricatures of him or any President. Bush II had a whole TV show caricaturing him. Yet despite this "dog story" equivalent nonsense from that group they are given all the cred in the world when claiming absurd things about the state of Florida. not only are they not ignored, they aren't even questioned.
I wish the GOP would stick to what matters too, but whether they do or dont' won't change the behavior of the massively left leaning media of this country.People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.

Re: Fast and Furious back in the News at least at Fox
No they don't. They sold the Patriot Act as the second coming of sliced bread. Fox News was their cheerleader. How did that work out?
Bush was boxed as Cheerios but was most definitely Lucky Charms. He never spent a dollar in his budgets that he didn't enjoy. A lot of media called him out, rightly so.
The current media relationship with Obama is so cozy that objectivity has been lost. No investigative journalism exists in the mainstream. You need to go to Al-Jazeera or RT America to get it.

Re: Fast and Furious back in the News at least at Fox
Weak decision IMO given that the case is before the judiciary and Justice isn't really doing anything on it at this point until a ruling. Just letting them get away with another delay tactic, Sounds like she's not too enamored of the shutdown and that may have influenced her decision.

Re: Fast and Furious back in the News at least at Fox
They run their agenda whether its good or bad for the country just the same as the left does.
This country is becoming less of a republic and more of a corporatocracy. Be it defense contractors or green energy enterprises, Congress and the President are pushing those types of agendas regardless of party.
Fox was definitely a cheerleader for the Patriot Act too. No different to me than the rah rah from CNN or MSNBC on the Affordable Care Act.
Alternative media like RT and Al-Jazeera will tell you the truth because they don't care about their access levels to people in our current government.

Always wondered what happened to this guy. During F&F the Border Patrol caught a guy smuggling hand grenade and other bomb making parts into Mexico. They detained him, ATF came, one of the women who was a key person in F&F talked to him and the Phoenix AG office, the one who was overseeing F&F. They declined to prosecute him and the ATF agent said he agreed to help them if they let him go on into Mexico, as if there was ANY chance of that happening. "Sure, you just let me go, and I'll call you next week with all kinds of stuff. See ya!"
Apparently he went into big time bomb/grenade making for the cartels, the Mexicans finally caught him and he's in prison on terrorism charges, but how many have been killed by the illegal weapons he made and the DOJ and ATF had him dead to rights and did nothing? He also converted AKs to full auto, a SERIOUS big time felony. No doubt if they'd arrested him at the border that day and shook the tree of his life they'd have found not only more evidence against him (he was smuggling grenade parts in his spare tire in the trunk of his car) but he could have potentially helped lead them to others.
How do these incompetent gits not only not get prosecuted, but keep their jobs? Everyone makes mistakes, but refusing to arrest and prosecute people smuggling bomb making parts, not even TRYING to get them to cut a deal on plea and help prosecute worse people or at least serve SOME jail time?People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.
