"When eventually questioned by the Toole County Sheriff's Office, Mitchell claimed the TdA gang members were "political asylees.""

Just like half of Congress would and nobody is locking them up...

    Re: Gangs of America

There's a really nice asylum for them... in El Salvador.

The problem is that our laws really aren't set up for this kind of assault. Even the mafia of old didn't go after innocent civilians this way. There were still rules, and yes even accommodations were made with local officials. Organized crime knew if it got too out of control they'd lose their concessions, so they drew within the lines.

These gangs do not, not at all, and our liberty based system has little means of dealing with them other than them being illegal and being able to get them deported.

It is interesting. I live a a small town (Bigger than Ashland but small town) called Winchester VA. We are the home of Shenandoah University (about 5000 students) and Valley Health is the regional provider for this area of VA and West VA.

We have a very large hispanic population here due to the construction industry for N. VA. (some amazing traditional mexican food and peruvian chicken) Generally, a pretty peaceful town and the population is well integrated and diverse. But in the past couple of years there have been a couple of MS-13 arrests and crimes in the general area.

I want to reiterate, the general population is not an issue. In fact, I think the integration of the hispanic population has enriched this area. But the integration of the gang element is not something rural and even suburban America is prepared for or used to.

The reason Trump won votes in counties like the 90% Hispanic one on Texas that hadn't voted Republican in forever is bc no one, of any ethnicity, wants those elements in their community, and truthfully the Hispanic community will be the first and hardest hit by groups like MS13. They will be living with them up front and personal more of the time, and suffering the ills more as well.

They left their homes to come here to get away from these people. They sure don't want them here.
