So you know how it works. You recall how Mitt Romney (and the "rich") was/are chastised by liberals in general and this administration in particular. for not paying his fair share, and how he paid less taxes than his secretary? Well, it seems the Obama's paid a measly 18% effective tax rate. Yep, far less than the average tax payer who earned over $250,000 (link to 2010 ETR), and over 4% less than his underling Joe Biden paid (see the same article). Of course "Generous Joe" managed to pry his wallet open to make a whopping $7,200 in charitable contributions (so much for the liberal reaching out to help their fellow man when its HIS money), of which $2,000 was used clothes. Well, at least he didn't pull a "Clinton" and deduct the used underwear he donated as a charitable contribution.

Rich people who pay lip service about the poor are exempt from personal ethics. Their deep felt concern for people they wouldn't help out of the rain wipes away all their sins. Just ask them.
