Normally Mexican food does not bother me, but my meal--which I've eaten probably 10 times before at this same restaurant--just isn't sitting well with me tonight. Quesadilla Hawaiiana, with rice and beans, chips and salsa, and a margarita.
I took my grandson bowling before the game, I’ve never done that before we played FL. or anybody else for that matter. I honestly can’t remember the last time I went bowling.

I just order coffee every time I visit, almost always drive thru. What am I getting?
I prefer coffee that I can actually taste so I don’t order it very often but I’m pretty sure they only have one coffee on their menu. I see their Keurig pods at Kroger also but have never tried them.

This is weird: I looked at the weather for my hometown of West Liberty KY on Accuweather as they’re getting rain from the remnants of Florence and my soon to be 89 year old mother still lives there. Now the weather banner here shows the weather in West Liberty.

Mrs. BEvans and I used senior discounts (55+) for the very first time at the theater last night (Crazy Rich Asians--good date movie). Had an odd feeling of triumph, seeing's how I'm a cheapskate.

Fall is finally on the way later this week. I expect it to last about 2 weeks then we'll dive into winter.
I know people have to earn a living, but I am SO tired of getting these phone calls/voice mail messages...
"Hey Darrell, it's ______. I've got a quick question for you, if you could give me a call back I'd appreciate it."
99% of the time, it's somebody selling something.
Just got one....did a google search for the telephone number....it's a clothing store that hits me up about once a month. It's somebody knew, so I didn't recognize the name, but something about it told me it was not somebody I was supposed to know.
If they can’t leave me a message telling me what they want I don’t call them back. I’ve probably got a million dollars sitting somewhere in Kenya with my name on it.
