Re: Last Post Wins
If this pattern persists for any length of time, and there is no guarantee that it will, the pattern of moisture streaming north northeast out of Texas, then any cold fronts sinking south out of the northwest will bring either rain or snow depending on the strength and coldness of the front dropping south. 99% of Kentucky and Tennessee's major snowfall or icing events occur when this weather pattern stays in place.

Re: Last Post Wins
Interesting, Dan--cool map and info.
I expect we actually end up with a little snow but mainly a cold rain with highs in the upper 30s, which is my absolute least favorite weather. I'd rather have snow and 20s than slush/rain and 30s.U really think players are going to duke without being paid over Kentucky?--Gilbert Arenas, 9/12/19

What's the forecast for next Friday and Saturday in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area? Currently scheduled to travel there next week.

Spent the weekend in 42° temperature with 21 mph winds and raining for 90 minutes at a time of just standing. Fun.

Re: Last Post Wins
Cold front from the northwest and moisture streaming out of the gulf from the southwest. If this were a stronger cold front it "could" bring a lot of snow if the upper air conditions were correct, which they are not, thank goodness. We do not have colder air over running warmer air a the surface. We will probably see snow, but it should not amount to much

Re: Last Post Wins
I hope it's not much. I have an auction Sunday with some outdoor stuff, I don't want to be out there shoveling it all off. I had it now rather than in Jan/Feb just to avoid the risk of serious winter weather.
Also it would help if I could get some bidders to buy a bunch of really cool stuff in it. in that sense having iffy weather isn't bad for me, but impassable or hard to commute in weather isn't great. We're online too but still.People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.

That's kind of what I gathered from the accuweather I use sometimes, but I never know if it's the best source or not. Thanks.

Deluge this morning...no worries I got a new wiper blade last week.
Oh wait!!! Half way to work my new blade unhinged itself from the wiper arm..
Continue driving without wiper? Pull over and fix?
I tried the former and ended up having to do the latter.... nothing like working on the car on the side of the rode while it's 40 degrees and pouring.

Re: Last Post Wins
NWS has put some snow in the forecast for Northern KY. Probably limited accumulation but could make for slick patches on untreated side streets and parking lots.

the phrase "wiper blade" makes me laugh. Makes me think of Heywood Banks' song "Wiper Blades". Man he's funny. "Toast" may be my favorite.

I used to drink strong bourbon to enhance the reactions of drugs. Which didn't help me at all, but if I remember correctly it sure was fun...

Tired of being tired.
Tomorrow I get to drive to Mobile. And back. Terrible boring drive. Hoping for a good night's sleep tonight.
