There's life afterall
Defense is still a WIP but I'll take it.

I think the defense will be a work in progress all year to be honest. I am starting to think the best we can hope for is a bend don't break philosophy that is opportunistic and generates some turnovers.

There are some young, tough, real players on D and they showed it tonight. The front 3 were disappointing tonight once again. Cobble and Rumph came in with a lot of hoopla but they have surely not performed up to the accolades. btw, I still hate the 3 man front.

Missed a good part of the game tonight, by the time I picked it up good in the 2nd half we had it under control and seemed to be playing better football.
I was slightly distracted when the score started getting out of hand by the ULM-Arkansas game. As a ULM alumnus, I quite enjoyed that one, too.
A good night, despite Miami getting crushed and Tulane losing as usual.

Re: There's life afterall
I thought the some of the Freshman defensive players played pretty well when they got in during the second half. I think Dakota Tyler played well, he should be starting ahead of Benton.
