A lot of Northeasterners are moving here. However, the ones that live close to us aren’t necessarily of that political persuasion. They’ve accumulated a nest egg for retirement and have the mindset to keep governments hand off it……and the Cuban population is becoming more conservative by the minute.

Florida is already 'purple', and Texas is moving that way too.

The Cubans understand Communism firsthand, so I'd be surprised if they didn't become more conservative. And I don't trust a bunch of northeastern Yankees to change the way they've voted for years now that they're moving down here to Florida. IMHO, it's just the cancer spreading. Again, that's just my humble opinion.
