* Play the KSR Hall of Fame Game Contest: Kentucky v South Carolina *
I was deathly concerned with a game against the Cocks and letting Doc run wild with the game contest, so I am posting this a little early.
Play the KSR Hall of Fame Game Contest: Kentucky vs. South Carolina
1. Predict the Kentucky margin of victory (+) OR loss (-). If you believe that Kentucky will lose, make sure that you make it clearly known with a -- [minus sign], or something else.
2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point.
3. Over/Under, Irresistible Force vs Immovable Object: UK is # 1 in 2 pt FG % in SEC play, and South Carolina is # 1 in SEC in 2 pt FG % defense. We're going to put the UK 2 pt FG % at an even 50% for the game. Predict whether UK will be OVER 50%, or UNDER 50%, and by how much.
4. Lock or Cock? UK is locked in at 35.7% 3-point shooting in the game. Cocks are loaded at 35.6% 3-point shooting. Pick Lock or Cock as to which one you think will be closest to 36% exactly in the game.
Tiebreaker: Wildcat number of steals in the game.
Good luck!

Almost won that first KSR Game Point, missing by a single point. But did not miss out on the 3rd point. Cats shot a blistering 20-28 from 2-point range for the game, or 71.4%. Amazing. Even if it included 3-point FGAs, UK shot a sizzing 58.3%.
3rd KSR point to uklandrn.

Re: * Play the KSR Hall of Fame Game Contest: Kentucky v South Carolina *
Thought we'd be generous and see if a bunch of people could earn a point. And yes, they did.
Kentucky was 8-20, or 40% from 3-point range, while SC was only 5-20, or 25%. The "Lock" was closer than the "Cock" to 36%, so all those with Lock, please stand up and claim your point.
Roll call.

Re: * Play the KSR Hall of Fame Game Contest: Kentucky v South Carolina *
Winners of the first three points -- Catfan73, PhillyCat, and uklandrn -- all managed to get the "Lock" question correctly, so it will be a three-way tie, with two points each.
Tiebreaker was number of Kentucky steals. Cats earned 6 steals tonight.
Catfan73 had 7, PhillyCat had 5--both great guesses, only 1 off.
But guess what?
We had one that got it on the nose--congrats to uklandrn, who picked the "6" steals precisely to go with the "Lock," the pick of "OVER" (and closest) on FG percentage at 50, and darn near the point spread on the game. Well-deserved win tonight!
