Seeing some decent shooting for this point in the season. Rough passing but that's to be expected

Re: Scrimmage thread anyone?
Fox is as fast as advertised, Willis still has his shot, Hawkins is still a demon on defense, and Jones is better than I thought he was at this time, although he should have already fouled out, and Briscoe is really steady at the PG spot

Re: Scrimmage thread anyone?
From what I've seen so far I'll be shocked if Briscoe doesn't start.
Cool as a rule, but sometimes bad is bad.

Bam Adebayo has suffered a cut under his right eye. He is expected to return.

Kids are really starting to get their legs. Defense is looking better too. Really liking what I'm seeing.

Re: Scrimmage thread anyone?
Gotta keep Hawkins healthy this season. Besides his defense, he has just knocked down 2 3s in a row

Re: Scrimmage thread anyone?
Fox is a beast! He is Wall - like in his ability to get around the defense any time he wants and get to the rim. I know it is just a scrimage - but I believe he will give opponents nightmares!

Re: Scrimmage thread anyone?
SKJ is going to be my sentimental favorite this year. Not only was my maiden name Jones (No I am not his mother - lol) - his game just makes me smile. I am pulling for this kid to contribute this year.

Re: Scrimmage thread anyone?
So far impressed with SKJ, Mulder and Briscoe.
Not impressed with Gabriel and Calipari
To be decided Bam, Willis, Dom, Fox and Monk (granted, I had high expectations)Aging is an extraordinary process where you become the person you always should have been.--David Bowie.

Re: Scrimmage thread anyone?
Dom was shooting great by all accounts last year early before he got hurt and we know that Willis can fill it up. If Mulder [who's a great athlete and maybe wasn't ready for the speed of the game last year] is really going to shoot like this it and add another great shooting role guy it makes this team much, much better as there will almost always be two dynamic backcourt guys who can get in the paint at will on the court at all times to go with one of those knock down shooters. I know that Monk is a great shooter but having one of those other three role guys on the court for 30 minutes of the actual game would really keep the lane open for Bam, SKJ and Hump to set up down low and the blurs to drive.

Not yet seeing the improvement I'd hoped for Willis on either end.

Re: Scrimmage thread anyone?
Briscoe looking really solid, so very huge he returned. VERY huge.
This Fox guy may be decent too....People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.

Don't think outside shooting will be a factor.
