Glad I'm not alone in seeing a certain similarity between some of the things being said about Trump and some that were said about Reagan. I had this discussion at work a while back with some people too young to remember Reagan, but in the first election the establishment lined up against him as well (despite him being a GOP Governor) and a lot of things were said about him being a fascist and too radical to be a responsible Commander in Chief.

Now he was NEVER the crass and even petty person Trump acts like at times, Reagan was in fact a shining example of setting the right example, but he is famous for the "I paid for this microphone" snap in New Hampshire which was all about the establishment trying to shut him out and undermine his campaign.

Of course Reagan turned out pretty OK. I'm not a Trump fan, but you never know, he does potentially have the ability to get some things done in Washington.
