  1. Time for a new truck battery, they must not make them like they used to

    Lol. Enjoyed it, Bigsky.

    -40... Wow.

Daughter's Honda CRV is showing some sluggishness in starting. Bought her a battery 3 years ago. Dang near like clockwork for me, but before she leaves to...

  5. 2016 Walking, Exercise, Weight Loss Member Challenge Thread

I've read the science and I feel sure that I burn more calories walking than I do with my slow old man version of running.

At my weight, that's really what I need to do. I just enjoy getting my...

It sounds like a problem I had a year or two ago with it. I don't remember how it got fixed, though.

Busy day today....man, what a Monday.
  9. Re: I'm sure not a lot of traveling is going on right now, but Hertz rental great dea

I'm pretty comfortable in the knowledge travel is still down, KentuckyWildcat--anecdotes aside, the travel numbers just aren't there yet. One plane doesn't mean anything, if 15 other planes are in...
  10. Re: Here Ya Go Wenyen! Cal Cancels Coffee With Cal Show Today.

Wenyen already tweeted John Calipari's comments. I think he was very happy with Cal.
  11. Congrats Wenyen, you just bumped off Jarred Vanderbilt as my most hated former cat

@WenyenGabriel: Hey @KentuckyMBB can we get a statement on racial inequality? thank you 🙏🏿

He retweeted John Calipari then later tweeted this in response to someone else.

    @WenyenGabriel: YES,...

3.5 miles "running", 86. That's normally not bad for me, but carrying too much weight makes it tougher.

  13. I'm sure not a lot of traveling is going on right now, but Hertz rental great deals

I would check daily or every other day. Right now, the deal is okay for next week but what cost $22 yesterday will cost $33 next Thursday. I'm disappointed, because I do need a rental car next...

Walked 3 miles this afternoon. Going to try to integrate that more into the exercise program in an attempt to help lose weight. Love the running, keeping the heart rate up for 40 or more minutes, and...
  17. Re: 2016 Walking, Exercise, Weight Loss Member Challenge Thread

If you've dropped 4 in 11 weeks, and only wanted to lose 11 total, I'd say you're doing great. Might be stuck there, but if so, that's probably where your body ought to be.

    Re: Home defense shotgun

For history buffs, there's a lot to like about the Sturmgewehr, predecessor to the AK-47. Hitler shunned it as a great mix of submachine gun and infantry rifle, and by the time he figured it out,...

Hertz just called and asked if it was ok for a GMC pickup truck instead.

    Re: Home defense shotgun

I well remember them for $0.79, but I wasn't buying .22's as a kid, so I didn't pay attention to them. I remember buying for less than $1.

$1.99 for a box is a darn good price. Academy Sports here...

    Re: Home defense shotgun

I need to go shooting, so I need to buy more ammo to do that. I'm ok for what I have right now, but it wouldn't bother me to have some more 9mm and .45 ACP, and some .38. Heck, some .22, too, for...
