    He said there is a lot of depth at the corners and “you can see they are ready to play, the sense of urgency to elevate their play.”

    Torrance Davis and Carrington Valentine got a mention of how they are progressing.

    White said Yusuf Corker is the leader back there (safety); Tyrell (Ty) Ajian, Quandry Mosely and Tai Dodson are guys that are going to have compete.

    When ask about some of the players on the offensive side that have impressed him, again which is becoming a regular thing, wide receiver DeMarcus Harris is the first name to jump out. He said it’s hard to single out a lot of players because they are so explosive.

    He said Terry Wilson has looked really good and Beau Allen does some of the things you don’t see true freshmen do.

    Kicker Matt Ruffalo said it would’ve been good to have the fans in the stands but he said having Mark Stoops standing over him on every kick is all the motivation he needs.

    Ruffalo said that he’s always had the leg but to extend out his range, the weight room has helped.

    Ty Ajian said that in every aspect of the game he has improved. He said he spends most of his time at safety but can play any of the secondary positions.
