    This is looking at this team's national ranking compared to other Cal-Era UK teams' national ranking in these categories:

    Offense
    Adjusted Offensive Efficiency: 8th out of 9 Cal-Era UK teams
    Effective FG%: 7th
    2pt FG%: 7th
    3pt FG%: 5th
    Offensive Rebound%: 5th
    Turnover %: last (and it's not really close--UK ranks 252nd nationally in Offensive TO%. The next worst team, UK 2010, was 165th.)

    Defense
    Adjusted Defensive Efficiency: 8th
    Effective FG% D: last (and again, not especially close--UK ranks 67th nationally in eFG% D. Next worst, last year's team, finished 44th.)

      I have no less confidence in this group than any other UK team I can recall. Except maybe Billy Clyde's last team.
      Thats the best I can offer.

      Long and slow. Strong and lacking a shooters touch. Young and having a low basketball IQ. Balanced having no star who can get it done when called upon.

      Potential and a team that can play good on occasion.

      The glass isn't always half full.

      If you looked at this alone, you'd think Sweet 16 is a pretty good result for a team that was below-average in most of these areas. But when you throw in the absolute gift-wrapped path to the Final 4 they were given, not so much.
