Kentucky basketball roster for 2013-14(so far)

With the announcement last night that Alex Poythress is returning for his sophomore season, here’s a look at how the Kentucky basketball roster is shaping up for 2013-14.

UK is still awaiting the decision of Andrew Wiggins, and there is the possible addition of Madison Central’s Dominique Hawkins.

At this time there are a couple of thoughts that are just mind-boggling.

1) At any given point next season, there will be a minimum of 3 McDonald's All-Americans sitting on the bench. Minimum.
2) If Alex Poythress and Kyle Wiltjer do not improve at all, and are worse than the 7 freshmen (6 McDonald All-Americans plus arguably the top-rated Center in the country), your 8th and 9th men are both McDonald's All-Americans.
