WSJ article is behind the paywall. Some friends are all in with Tim, he has quite the military record too so “stolen valor” seems unlikely—he has enough to go around.

More interesting is whether he is a conservative.

Montana is key to the Senate this November.

We certainly don't need any more Lisa Murkowski's in the Senate.

suncat, don't get me wrong, he's better than two faced tester, who tries to be red in montana and turns deep blue the other non campaign years in DC. The whole took a bullet in service, then lied about where he got it to the park etc, is a bizarre story and does leave some questions. But I look at his service record and medals and tend to think he had no reason to lie other than the one he gave.
