Cool as a rule, but sometimes bad is bad.
Last time I did it I created a new folder on the desktop, opened the bookmarks menu in the browser and dragged and dropped the bookmarks to the new folder. Then copied the new folder with all the bookmarks to a thumb drive. Opened the thumb drive on the new PC and dragged and dropped the bookmarks into the browser bookmark menu on the new PC.
There may be more automated way to do it but I do not know about it.

Got it! I clicked on Bookmarks (Firefox), show all bookmarks, and Import and backup which prompted me to a folder I had waiting. Shew! Was really dreading the "starting over" stuff.
