Anybody seen a 200-foot radio station tower?
One in Jasper (40 miles from Birmingham) has come up missing.

Re: Anybody seen a 200-foot radio station tower?
30 years ago or so a guy in our neighborhood, some homeless dude, tried to steal someone's kayak. Needless to say seeing him walking down the street with it was kind of a giveaway.
I'd think a 200 foot steel tower would be even more obvious.
That's really low, b/c scrap prices are in the dumper right now. A car will only get you a few hundred dollars, no way that tower even that tall weighed enough to make anyone rich, and the damage that does is huge for a small business.
Not that any theft is OK, but that is really low. Do all that damage for pocket change.Last edited by CitizenBBN; 02-14-2024 at 08:30 PM.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.

Did anybody think to go over to Two Keys and see if it was there?
