I owe Jimmy a drink or 10. I cued up Livin' and Dyin' in 3/4ths Time yesterday and sang along.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.

I was there for “A1A” and “A White Sports Coat and a Pink Crustacean” and “Livin and Dyin in 3/4 Time” and slowly faded as he got more popular.

Some great tunes on those albums. The beginnings of “yacht rock” I guess.

Having spent some good time raisin hell on the west coast of Florida after a year of college didn’t go great, waitin for the call up, I can remember the scene and the vibe. Like Montana in the 1970s, still holding on to the charm.
