Robbie Robertson RIP
The Band’s songwriter, legally, anyway. Lots of good tunes including the overplayed Americana standard, The Weight. I love “Christmas Must Be Tonight” my favorite Americana modern Christmas song.
Big Pink and The Brown Album, especially the latter, have a lot of good music.
There are not many more woesome cryin on my beer breakup songs than Rick Danko’s sung “It Makes No Difference”. And Scorcese’s “The Last Waltz” film of The Band’s last concert (at Winterland!) is outstandind with lots of guests.

Re: Robbie Robertson RIP
Great collection of musical talent. Outstanding singing talent and they could sure play their instruments with some of the best of them. Loved the imaginative band name too. We keep losing members of the era of terrific rock and roll, blues, and instrumental talents. Lots of great memories provided by those that we have lost in recent months.
