Who is the lithium batteries for RVs expert
My battery compartment is smallish or I’d put
Two group 31 lead acid in there and call it a day. And weight is a factor. Two group 27 is all that
Can fit and they don’t work for solar
Storage.
Would like a heated, bluetooth 12volt 200-300 amp hour in there. Or equivalent. Will likely use one group 31 agm and a generator for the rest of Camping this year because I have those.

Re: Who is the lithium batteries for RVs expert
I do not know much about RVs and even less about RV solar power systems, but I am thinking about mounting the necessary batteries in an aluminum box on the roof behind the roof mounted AC unit. That should eliminate any additional drag from the battery box by having it behind the AC unit, and it could be built to accommodate the battery sizes you want to use.
Any potential in that idea?seeya

Re: Who is the lithium batteries for RVs expert
I know nothing about RVs. Wish I did, I want one. Doubt I ever get one.
But I know the LiFePo4 batteries are super light and seem to hold their charge really well. Test ours yearly at work and after 1 year, they all tested at nearly 100%.

Re: Who is the lithium batteries for RVs expert
I have a slide in truck camper. It’s kind of a redneck RV. But the battery box has room for two Group 27s, my least favorite and really just a car battery size. A 12v 200AH lithium would fit, tho.
