Re: Retailers fleeing Portland
All of the retailers can not leave there fast enough to suit me, clothing retailers, dry goods stores, appliance shops, pharmacies, etc. I hope they have nothing left but liquor stores and ammunition shops.

There was a time, maybe a decade, when it was a really nice city. Now it is a dystopia.

Re: Retailers fleeing Portland
My wife has a nephew that moved out there about 6 years ago to get into the music business. I have not seen him since, but I suspect he is still liking it just fine.

Re: Retailers fleeing Portland
My wife lived in Portland back in 1998, my second year of vet school. Visiting there was really cool. An absolutely wonderful place. Lots to do, safe, friendly and an environmentalist dream. Now it's known for riots and crime. Thank you liberal democrats.
As an aside, I lived in Chicage from 1968 to 1974. If that is a prognostication, S FL is in trouble 50 years from nowAging is an extraordinary process where you become the person you always should have been.--David Bowie.
