    I always knew him as the standup artist. Acerbic and non-conforming. I liked his work. That was long before he got on Law and Order. He was around in the original SNL days as a writer, then did standup.
    People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.

    Yep, always thought it was odd he went from standup/writing to tv drama…especially given his stage schtick.

    Never really watched a lot of Law and Order…

    I'm like you. I caught a few episodes with him on it. He was good at it IMO, but I still think of him as a comedian.
