He was a terrible President, his domestic and foreign policies were terrible, and the Iran hostage situation finished his Presidency, along with a man named Ronald Reagan.

More so a President who served as a peacemaker during a terrible point in time. His honor will be given in heaven imo.
But no doubt he will choose to serve rather than bask in it.

An additional thought that I should have included in my first post: President Carter was a terrible POTUS, yes. But he has been a good role model as a citizen of the world, especially due to his humanitarian works around the world. He is a true gentleman and seems to be one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. Apologies for not doing the right thing and pointing that out before.
