    NHL great Bobby Hull -RIP

Very sad news for me. Long time Hawks fans, spent some childhood years in Chicago when BH was in his prime. As a first grader in elementary school we had to write to somebody famous. I chose hometown hero Bobby. He replied to my letter with an autographed card that I still have today, postmarked July 28, 1969 (my 6th birthday). It is encased with my autographed Hull jersey. Feel like a small part of me and my childhood died

Sorry you lost a child hero, but that is a great story.
