3:33 am...and all's well
That's Central Time.
Looks like all the tornado watches have been canceled for our area.
Some other areas having it a little rougher tonight. Just south of us under tornado warnings currently. Hate dangerous weather, but really hate it in the middle of the night.Last edited by Darrell KSR; 01-04-2023 at 03:38 AM.

Re: 3:33 am...and all's well
I got about 10 mins of sleep Tuesday morning. Weather radio set of it's siren, the one i have is dang LOUD and will not shut down until the battery runs down or it is turned off by the owner. It sits on the bedside table and since we were under a potential nasty weather alert I set it for alert mode. 1:00 AM it went off, and went off every 15 mins or so until 7:00 AM. We did not have any tornadoes within 75 miles but there were some flooding conditions close by and the NWS wanted me to know about any alert for bad weather within that 75 mile radius. Snap out of a short nap, shut off alarm, pick up cell phone to look at the NWS radar image, click on animate, watch for a few minutes, lay phone down, turn off light and reset NWS radio alert function. 15 mins later, rinse and repeat.

Miserable night of sleep here too, but better than that, Dan. And fortunately no severe weather for us.

We had rotation over our house. We were in the basement at 3:30 and again at 5:00. Followed by a long day at work.
Have not heard of any confirmed touch downs.
