I am in a "fun" Office Pool of about 45 people. It's basically a firm I do business with, and a few of their invited guests.
Each week, you make 15 picks against the spread. I'm usually decent (compared to the others, all things relative) during college football season, but it continues through the NFL season. I don't follow NFL at all. At all.
Anyway, this past week there were 16 games. So I had to pick 15 of the 16. I missed the game Thursday, so all of my games were after Thursday. As of Sunday morning, I was 0-11.
How hard is it to miss 11 consecutive against the spread? Needless to say, I was solidly in last place.
