It was an embarrassment to our country. IT literally was a political party stumping speech using his office. Has that ever been done before? They are desparate.

I loved CLinton's return. Not only did they pull him from the 1990s but his talking points, that GOP was going to cut Social Security and Medicare, were right out of the 1990s too.

Agree with it or not but the GOP hasn't voted against a spending increase in those or most other social programs since Bush I administration. You can't hit the GOP on budget cuts when they haven't made any in the last 30 years.

They thought the abortion issue would save them from a bad economy and appear to have been very wrong for a few factors not the least of which is that the economy generally overrides all other voting issues, esp. when it's bad.
