To me there is a difference between being liberal, and being leftist. Traditional liberals are seeing leftist as a threat to the existence of the Democratic party. She is just the latest to see it.

She will eventually end up in the GOP. Her core beliefs align much more with the right, or at least the right as it is trending. Not the right of the neocons
