He is a very proud American, and I get a kick out of watching him work in congress on CSPAN and in film clips on Youtube. He is outspoken, and does not suffer fools well, and he will tell them that to their faces, but he is always ready to work with anyone that takes a common sense approach to a problem or an issue to solve that problem.
He also has a pretty good home spun sense of humor.
