Elimination game 2022 version

No revisions this year as I liked how it worked last year. Here is a refresher

Elimination (or Survival) game: Each week you pick ONE SEC team to win. Its that simple. There are no points, no spreads. Just pick the winner. HOWEVER in the following weeks you can not re-use a team. So if you pick GA to win in week 1 then you can not use GA in week 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 etc. If you pick MS in week 2 you can not use GA or MS in weeks 3 or 4 or 5 or 6. If your picked team loses, you get a strike. Three strikes and you are out of the game. This game requires you to play from week Two (the first week of intraconference games--UK vs FL and SC vs Arkansas). All teams will be used meaning you will have 14 picks and 12 weeks (week 1 has no intraconference games), but I am giving one Ten Foot Pole optional pick. You can SKIP ONE WEEK if you choose (or miss due to forgetfulness). You can to do it once and only once during the season. Because you will be required to pick all 14 teams in an 12 week span (each team has 10 games plus one bye week =11 weeks), you must double pick in 2 of the weeks (or 3 if you ten foot pole one week). Triple picks, quadruple picks etc in one week are NOT allowed (max 2 teams picked in one week). ALL teams must be used by the final week, and you must play each week (excluding your one ten foot pole). If you miss a week and already used your TFP, you will lose the highest ranked team per SEC standing (tie breaker would be highest ranked team in AP) that you have available.

Also it is up to the player to keep track of teams used. I will try to make sure you don't reuse the same team, and keep a running post, but sometimes I miss a double pick. If you do double pick, and we don't catch it, it will be an invalid pick and you must make up that week (it goes as as TFP if you have it) or at least a double pick the following week. I trust that most are on the honor system because its a game. Likewise, if you don't get your pick in at kick off but you have not seen the game or score..have no knowledge of the action...go ahead and pick. Because its a game!
