Ashley was just on the news with Diane Sawyer, and she reported that her mothers suicide involved a gun. She said that the family was not comfortable talking about it, but she said that if the family did not address it, that someone else eventually would.
And yes Doc Ashley said the mental illness had been plaguing her for many years and that condition led to her death.
