to potentially receive assistance for recovery from the recent Tornado damage is 2-11-2022. Would anyone like to guess what an applicant must present to FEMA workers when applying for benefits?

I'll bet it is an ID...
One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you can't utter.
Doesn’t that depend on where you live? I always have to show them something at my precinct.

In Ky you still have to have ID. The Democratic voting legislation that didn't make it past the filibuster would eliminate state voter ID requirements. You could, like in California, just show up and say you're a resident of that precinct, and vote.
Anyone want to get on a plane with that policy for ticketing and gate security?
I won't get into politics here, but it has always buffaloed me that anyone who needs to basically function in the US, i.e. you aren't a hobo, would not have an ID of some kind. You need it for any number of dozens of things over the course of your life, apparently including if a tornado ravages your town and you need federal aid.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.
