IMO the basketball version is much better because Vandy can win a game! I am going to simplify and make keeping track of used teams easier.
-Each team must be used TWICE and TWICE ONLY . Since there are 2 games a week, it should be easy to fill that requirement. Only conference games included
-You must play between 1 and 3 teams each week. A week is Monday thru Sunday. Be sure to make clear what team and day you are playing. IE if UK is playing TN on Wednesday and SC on Saturday and you want the cats for the USC game, list as KY (S)...or if you want UK over the Vols, it would be KY (W). If you are playing 2 teams on the same day it would be KY (S) and FL (S) meaning you are picking the cats and the gators to win on Saturday.
-by the above rules you have ample TFP but keep in mind 17 games to pick a team twice, and 1-3 teams each WEEK. No double picks on the same team, same game
- missed pick gets a strike, three strikes and you are out. Winner based on number of correct picks, not how long you last. IE if player A plays 3 teams each week and lasts 6 weeks has 15 correct picks and 3 strikes, player B plays 1 team a week and lasts 11 weeks has 8 correct picks and 3 strikes....player A wins even though he lasted fewer weeks because he had more correct picks.
-at the top of the thread I will list all players followed by a list of all the teams. Teams used once will be colored blue. Teams used twice will be colored red.
-Play starts Jan 1st ( thus Dec games like UK vs MO won't be included. Also keep in mind that the SEC Big 12 challenge is going to make one week tricky as you still must play a team that week (tues,Wed or Thurs)
-see below as to format for pick. I will only be listing strikes when grading... but be using the team list to keep track. Note Blue is one pick left for that team, and red means team no longer available
Any question?
