I heard on the WAVE 3 news Louisville that Wells has been in Lexington since yesterday, and they also stated it was unclear whether he would be eligible to play this year at all. I'm not sure why we would bother giving him a scholarship unless Cal wants him for practice until he becomes eligible. What would be the effect on our potential stud class next year? Would it sway some decisions knowing he had been here on the floor practicing for a season? What about his seemingly volatile personality traits and chemistry issues? These are all obvious questions in my mind.
Now I hear he's on the way to Memphis (rumor)
