    I hated to see this. Strait out of Olive Hill, KY., and a great story teller he was.

    I remember when I was a kid of like 7 or 8. Tom T was on Hee Haw and they did the salute mentioning Olive Hill. We lived in Ohio at that time, but hearing Olive Hill mentioned on Hee Haw seemed like a big deal at the time.

    One of my high school classmates set up a welcome center for visitors to Olive Hill in the former train depot building. She contacted Tom T about memorabilia for a display dedicated to him. He was all for the idea and she made a trip to Tennessee in the fall of 2019 and spent some time with him. Tom T provided a number of items for the welcome center, which opened on July 3rd of this year.

    This is Lisa and Tom T when she visited him in Tennessee.
