Not winning a game and pulling a publicity stunt playing a lady soccer player at kicker who had never kicked a football will get that job done for you

Wont let it go will you? You embarrass yourself and this board with this line of commentary.
Yes, he'll let it go. I promise.
I hope he thinks it was worth it.

I'm kind of enjoying it.
It's like watching a train wreck where the engineer is oblivious to the fact that he's in a wreck and the train just keeps on going, dragging stuff along the way.
Heck, it's more likely Mason was fired for his postgame comments that the move was out of necessity rather than touting it as a seminal moment in the feminist movement. But it's funny that Terry is so confused about the current climate on college campuses that he'd be in trouble for such a thing.
He was fired b/c his team is awful, and has been in decline. Putting a girl on the field was probably the most positive thing that was brought up in the board meeting about his tenure. Given how his teams have performed I'd say it may be the most positive thing he's done.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.

I get what you're saying, and there's a little of a "watching a train wreck continuing to post" element to it, for sure. But I think he reached the point of thumbing his nose at the board with them. He's sitting in timeout so he can think about it. If/when he returns, he can choose whether that's a permanent timeout or not through his actions.
As one who has devoted thousands of hours to girls/women’s soccer, I’m completely appalled by the ignorant and ridiculous comments about women’s skill levels. I bet the Vandy soccer player could kick TB’s ass from Waddy to Cropper.

Bttt (too soon?).
Does that make sense? (Apparently to everyone but you know who.)
changing my signature to change our luck.
Terry, there are times I think the other posters on this board are a little hard on you. This is NOT one of those times. Your comments and attitude towards the situation is a complete slap in the face to members on here who have daughters, granddaughters, etc who work their butts off just as much as any male athletes. For you to keep insisting this was simply a publicity stunt and a reason why Mason was fired is asinine. He was fired because of his total body of work at Vandy and perhaps if his team had shown some effort on offense, scored more and given the young lady more chances to kick, maybe he wouldn’t have been fired THIS WEEK.
Bottom line is that you are VERY WRONG in your thinking on this.
Sounds like she is going to stay with the team. Anyone know the status of the other kickers?

One word for that article. Vomitous.
I always find it so appalling how so many conservative women want to trash the hard work and accomplishments of other women. It seems like that Sarah Fuller was pretty much the only one on the team that day that actually accomplished the task they were assigned, and the author thinks this is a case of "tokenism".
This is a celebration of hard work, inspiration, determination, and on and on. The message that it sends to young girls is tremendous and should absolutely be applauded.
Oh please. The next time a liberal compliments a woman from the Trump administration etc. will be the first. Both sides do that excessively.
The truth is the facts in these things are irrelevant, their only impact is in the marketing and message. If everyone believes it's positive for women then it is, if they believe it isn't then it isn't.
In the 1970s at my school the women's groups on campus campaigned to get porn magazines in the campus bookstore b/c a woman had a right to show her body if she wanted and they saw it was women's liberation.
In the 1990s those same exact groups campaigned to get them out of the bookstore b/c they were exploiting women and were preventing women's liberation and equality.
It's all in the perception. There is no truth here.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.
Apples and oranges.
Of course you had to bring up Trump. The reason why you will never see a liberal compliment a female in the Trump administration is the same reason they won’t compliment the men either, they’re absolutely horrible at their jobs.
Trump must think so too, since he fired more, or people left, more than any administration in history.
Plus, I was speaking from my personal experiences.
