Hmmm...
Obama had a track record of reaching across the aisle as he was a state senator in Illinois. He worked closely with Tom Coburn and John McCain as a Senator. He had Republicans in his administration. He's not perfect. He did make a few comments that he had to apologize for over the years, but he accepted responsibility. All in all, in a country that is divided, I feel like he did a pretty good job of trying to work with people that had absolutely no interest in working with him.
There has to be something else that made him so "divisive".
I wonder what that could be...
Compare Obama’s time in 8 years to Trumps and Trump did way more to help America.
Not to mention the deal he cut with Iran.
I know its hard not to make our points in this way at times, but personal attacks (even subtle ones) directed at individual members cannot be allowed. Please let's all refrain and keep our comments generalized.
Especially the more sensitive ones.
Likewise when someone makes a generalized statement, do not take that as a personal attack. That has happened more than a few times and does not justify a personal attack in defense of an opinion or ideology.
Doing so seems harder than it is. And perhaps my explanation lacks a little clarity...well, I'm certain it does after proof reading it. That's just the best I can do.
Those who agree to verbally joust in a semi- respectful way, continue to have it of course.
Not my rules, but the rules of Kentucky Sports Report. And surely we can see why at this time especially we must exercise some self restraint.
And remember there is no such thing as all Dems or all Republicans.

“Before I leave I’d like to see our politics begin to return to the purposes and practices that distinguish our history from the history of other nations,
“I would like to see us recover our sense that we are more alike than different. We are citizens of a republic made of shared ideals forged in a new world to replace the tribal enmities that tormented the old one. Even in times of political turmoil such as these, we share that awesome heritage and the responsibility to embrace it.”
-Patriot and Senator. John McCain
On a divisive scale, where does spying on your opponent fall? I say its less than having the IRS target conservatives but more than telling the GOP to get in the back of the bus

It takes more than one to divide. Trump was the result of division IMO.
Obama put the wedge in place. After Hillary lost, the Democrats in office and the media wielded the hammers and drove the wedge deeper and deeper all while blaming Trump.

When Trump put Pelosi is her correct place the fight was on!
I prefer Dan Bongino's description... the most corrupt president in US history. Of course Biden will give him a run for his money

Can’t be true, Biden is the great savior and will save us from the evil racist Trump!
Meanwhile he is raising taxes while giving China all the manufacturing back!
