The Florida-LSU game might be postponed due positive Covid tests.

Apparently there are 19 positive tests, with 10 more with mandatory quarantine--all 29 are on scholarship. Minimum to play is 53* scholarship players, so the maximum number they will have for the game is 56 (if they had a full 85 on scholarship at the beginning of the week. Or maybe they could make a walk-on a scholarship player if they didn't, probably).

Now, from that 56....

OL Ethan White hasn't played this year due to a knee injury, backup quarterback Emory Jones has missed the last two games with a hand injury, and safety Brad Stewart is under concussion protocol.

In addition, a team must have at least seven offensive lineman, one quarterback and 4 defensive lineman. According to a source with The Athletic, Florida is struggling to feel the minimum in at least one of those areas.

* A team may still choose to play, even if they fall under that 53 player minimum. I think it's sort of a built in "out" at the team's choice.
