It doesn’t help that the media hypes any event that can be used to create race division, but doesn’t mention corresponding events that include caucasian victims.

It's a huge detriment. No good deed done by an officer will get much coverage.

The media have tremendous influence over people's perceptions, and since the media have no problem distorting any situation for their own gain and beliefs, and since many of them are drooling morons, we have a big perception problem in this country on many issues.

One will get in trouble, or have to step away and leave and the situation meanwhile gets out of control.

I'm sure they can call an officer if needed, but some of these things move quickly.

Some fools will pass legislation to prevent them from going out on calls armed.
