    Are you folks in the Ham OK?

    Some nasty wind and flooding reports coming in out of your area. Hope everyone and their property is OK

    The Cahaba River runs through my backyard. It is up quite a bit, but absolutely no concern. I believe the worst of the drenching was over near where bakert lives on the North bank of the Black Warrior River in Ttown. There are some ridiculous reports of flooding over there.

    Nasty crash south of Montgomery on N I65… several fatalities after a car hydro-planed starting chain reaction.

    10 people died in that crash.

    I'm fine. Went for a walk (I can't run right now, doctor's orders) yesterday through a trail and over a couple of swollen creeks, but nothing awful for me.)

    8 of those who died were girls who lived at the Sheriff's ranch in Tallapoosa County. They were returning from a trip to the beach. Very sad.

    We had some water in the backyard, but nothing destructive. Post-storm report that we got about 7" of rain in our area. But there was some pretty nasty stuff not terribly far from us.
