Cancel the season. Announce football and sports not a part of the university mission and that the SEC schools will no longer pursue sports. Then cut all the jobs and scholarships and watch the fun ensue.

Players want to be paid like it's a business. OK. Guess what happens when demand for cars declines? People get laid off. Business isn't all its cracked up to be versus a nice cozy academic world.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.

It’s painful to write this cause my football team is finally a sec caliber team.. however I’m to the point, cancel the season. Let the woke journalist like dan wolken and Dr Fauci see the damages that will occur to kids, their families, small towns, tax revenue, universities etc... cancel it, just do it already, it’s what they want.. let’s see how the college academic departments look or the lack of funding for those departments look when college football shuts down for a season. They need to see it not be there so they will appreciate it more. I’m tired as an American, being told everyday how bad we have it. It’s getting draining and sometimes the people complaining need to have it taken away and suffer some..

As I've maintained, lots more devastating not to play than to play. Didn't I read that there are zero deaths in Ky between ages of 10-30?

I know Darrell May get upset but this Chinese virus is absolutely a political issue. Democrats are willing to let every thing we love and cherish as Americans to go down the drain if it means they regain power.

Then they will reshape America. Football and basketball are the least of my worries...and should be everyone’s

The H1N1 virus -- called the Spanish flu when it broke out in 1918 -- is estimated to have infected 500 million people worldwide, with 675,000 deaths in the United States, according to information from the CDC.

Putting aside your assessment that democrats will use this plague to radically alter American way of life, what are your steps to reopen America?

Do you favor mandatory masks, glove, and googles?

Do you favor requiring employees of businesses to stop teleworking and return to office space?

I may not agree 100% but I am open to hearing you out.

Right now there is a real French/Russian Revolution vibe out in the streets across the country. Between the fear of the pandemic, racial issues and the very real possibility of significant numbers of Americans out of jobs and homes, we have rough waters ahead.

    What do we do?
