I’m sure I’ll get criticized, but I don’t care. The NBA leadership, many owners, coaches, and many players are hypocrites about this. Not all but an awful lot of them. Green (money) is greater than anything to those individuals.

I think the NBA could take 40% of their profits and help people in poverty. Maybe help those innocent people who lost their businesses from those "peaceful" protestors. The SEC could start paying players' families who are living in situations well below what most American's have.

Pretty much applies to any sports league, NASCAR, fishing competitions, etc

That is precisely what I would prefer. I want to watch sports as a distraction from the political aspect believe it or not. I think that ship has sailed unfortunately.
