Completely. Contrasting that with Trump or Kavanaugh I think we can all see the media bias clear enough.
The media on all fronts is just totally in the bag for their political camp. The right has Fox news and talk radio and a handful of websites, while the left has CNN, MSNBC, the networks and most newspapers.
It's Hearst v. Pulitzer. Cracks me up they name a journalism award after a guy who helped create yellow journalism.

A few decades ago we had the Clarence Thomas spectacle and the left was shouting about believing the accuser, Anita Hill. Believing the accuser lasted until the parade of women alleging assaulted by Bill Clinton came along. These were not perceived instances of innuendo or harassment, but multiple allegations of assault and even rape, not to mention known consensual activity with a subordinate. The left and largely the press, stood silent.
Fast forward 25 years and the same tune is playing. It is really phenomenal that most of those pounding the Christine Blasey Ford drum of support don't even ackowlege Tara Reade. And some like Alyssa Milano, try to justify their hypocrisy. The circumstances surrounding the Biden accusation are much worse than the Kavanaugh accusation.
The silence of the media is what is really troubling, and quite frankly it just confirms the bias Trump is always talking about.
As if 10,000 other instances shouldn't have done it, but the debate should be completely over as to whether the media has a severe political bias and agenda that distorts objective reporting of politics and everything else in the news.
The debate is over. There is no more objective media in this country, and one good thing about Trump is that he forced them to drop even the veil of lies covering their agendas.

I hope nobody is surprised, because if you are then your are an idiot...and I don't think anybody who posts here is an idiot. Comes as zero shock that no democrat would side with Kavanaugh and all would side for Biden. It was never about the allegations or finding the truth. It was 100% about denying Kavanaugh the seat on the SCOTUS. In fact I don't even think it was due to his stance on abortion.
Likewise Biden isn't about the accustion or finding the truth. For me it is actually nice to see most on the right not blindly taking her word for it, or using it in a similar manner as was done to Justice Kavanaugh. Most pined for presumption of innocence with Kavanaugh and have for Biden. Most on the right are more just focused on the blatent hypocrisy from the left that is impossible to hide.

I get politicians being duplicitous and hypocritical, everything they say is a manipulative lie.
But clearly the mainstream media and all these self-anointed moral compasses in Hollywood are also just as full of crap. I will give Rose McGowan and some of the more Bernie backer hollywood women some credit, but not all b/c I wonder what they would do if Bernie was accused. Sure it may have been of feeling up a girl in a flapper dress at a Charleston party in 1925, but I still wonder how true they would be.
It's a joke. Honestly if anyone really ever believes the Dems are really concerned about the poor or oppressed, or that the GOP is really dedicated to the ideals of the Founders, etc. they are just drinking the Kool Aid.
Judge people on their actions, always, not their words. If you do that you'll find a few gems among them, but few. Senator Grassley has been a consistent voice for responsible government, there are a few others, but not many on either side.
I do give Bernie some credit that way. Even when it hurt him re things like Cuba, he's been pretty true to his beliefs and positions. I don't agree with any of them, but I do respect him for it.
The rest are just shills interested in power and influence, and not a thing they say has anything to do with the truth or their real motives or goals.

Yep....Ol Bernie could have abandoned his core values for the sake of electability and power, but he didn't. He is not a politician who follows the whim of the day and adjusts according to the latest poll. He is a socialist who makes no apoligies for it...albeit a millionaire socialist. But unlike Biden, he does not change his stance dependant upon who raises their hand during a debate

Rand Paul is another who is principled. I don't agree with him on a lot of things, I think being the Great Dissenter doesn't help at times even if the reasons for it are sound, but I respect that he's got a belief system and he follows it.
I even respect that about Massie, but there is a difference between having principles and being an ideologue. That's why I'm not registered Libertarian despite being one since the 1980s. The ideas are sound, but you have to pick your battles in life if you're ever going to win any.
