SOS... Doc!! I Got a Sick Bearded Dragon!!
My grandsons five year old bearded dragon is pretty sick. Lethargic, not eating, not pooping.
Started with new lighting/heat $165
Local DVM had them feeding him IV fluids with a syringe, and feeding some mushy food. Dragon made a poo poo, so they took it in for evaluation (first visit $375).
DVM asked to see the dragon again. Friday they took him back. DVM was feeling around his belly/underside, dragon pulled an exorcist barf. DVM recommended leaving him over the weekend for more evaluation and to keep an eye on him. ($875)Today the DVM sent him home more IV fluids and waiting on test results.
I’m guessing he got a cow or a goat stuck in his gizzard on his last reign of terror on a local hamlet...
...any thoughts???
