Didn't know about Eddie Money. Seems weird to me that Rip Taylor and Rip Torn both go in the same year.

Didn't know about Eddie Money.

He and Ric Ocasek died with 48 hrs of each other. E. Money on Sept 13 and Ocasek on Sept 15

You can ad songwriter Allee Willis to the list. She wrote/co-wrote several Earth Wind and Fire songs including September, and Boogie Wonderland. She is best known for writing the theme song for the TV show Friends.

...also other hit songs include The Color Purple, and BeverlyHills Cop theme songs. In addition she had a long list of mucus Ian’s that she wrote songs for.
