    * Play KSR Hall of Fame Game Contest: Kentucky v Fairleigh Dickinson *

Game is tomorrow, but it's early and Saturday a lot of folks don't get on the boards, so wanted to go ahead and post early.

    1. Predict the Kentucky margin of victory (+) OR loss (-). If you believe that Kentucky will lose, make sure that you make it clearly known with a -- [minus sign], or something else.

    2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point.

    3. OVER/UNDER 10. Predict whether Fairleigh Dickinson will have OVER 10 turnovers, or UNDER 10 turnovers, and by how many.

    4. PAR-A-SHOOTER. Predict the Points X Assists X Rebounds of Kentucky player who has the most attempted field goals. For purposes of today's game, two rules: a) the Assist number will be no lower than 1. If it is 0, it is 1. If it is 1, it is 1. (Note--rebounds or points could be 0, though.) b) If two or more players tie for the most FGA, then we will take only the score of the one with the higher P X A X R.

TB: Time left in game when UK hits its last trey.

    Good luck.

...by the way this is my first time playing and Darrells promise for an automatic induction was too much to pass up. I haven’t had a chance to set up an account so I’d like to thank blueboss for letting me use his acct. to join in the fun ~ blueworker.

Cats win by 31, and these two guys split the difference with outstanding picks. Each missed by one, and earned the first KSR point.

EJ with a huge game, pouring in 25, and Catfan73 sprinting to a quick lead with his 2nd point of the game.

Great picks here, all nailing the FDU turnovers exactly with their pick of over 3, as FDU finished with 13 turnovers.

EJ with the most FGAs, so he's our shooter.

25 pts x [1] assist x 9 rebounds = 225. (He did not have an assist, so he had a "deemed" assist number of 1).

Great pick here very close to the actual, and earned the point.

Catfan73 and Harlow with two points each, an excellent game.

We must go to the tiebreaker.

Keion Brooks made the final 3-pointer for Kentucky with 10:48 to play in the game.

Catfan73 was closer, and congratulations on another great win!

So, Darrell, I would like to fess up and apologize. The “blueworker” new inductee was a cheap ruse which was meant as a joke to gain entry into the hall of fame due to my poor play thus far.

I honestly thought you’d see through my feign attempt of chicanery because of the handles of blueworker and blueboss (get it).

So anyway, again I apologize to you and my KSR brethren for my attempt of deception. For self reporting my malfeasance, I’d like to suggest a two game suspension for a first time violation of team rules ~ blueboss

    Congratulations!!

Losing with no correct answers should have been your biggest clue that it was actually me.

I thought that could be the case, and I thought, "what's the harm if I play along?" Didn't see anybody getting their feelings hurt if I did, but I certainly didn't want to hurt somebody's feelings if it was real, so I erred that way.

    All in good fun!

We'll think of an appropriate punishment for you, though....

    Oh no... Nobody's leaving.

Nobody's walking out on this fun, old-fashioned Hall of fame contest. No, no. We're all in this together. This is a full-blown, four-alarm Hall of fame emergency here.
We're gonna press on, and we're gonna have the hap, hap, happiest season since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny friggin' Kaye.

And when curly Josh Pastner squeezes his flat white ass down in that Rupp Arena coach's seat Saturday, he's gonna' have to deal with the jolliest bunch of Wildcatchatters this side of the nuthouse.

    Where's the tylenol?
