Pick the favorite Nov. 2nd weekend (Double Shock Power!)
Let’s try this...just for this week, if you wish you can “double shock” one pick, so you can wager a total of 40 fake dollars. Totally optional. Might help some break out of a hole, or it might make things worse, just like in real life. No one will get kneecapped though. Unless Darrell orders it.

Might have picked the wrong week for double shock lol. I can’t find a single game I really like. I do see some possible upsets however.

Hate to tell you, but I had Tulane, too, and took it out in favor of Memphis. But if I "liked" it, it's probably a bad sign for you ... then again, I didn't take them, so maybe you're ok .
Surprised nobody has chosen to double-shock anything.

I hope none of these games have started.

Re: Pick the favorite Nov. 2nd weekend (Double Shock Power!)
Another good week overall, as we went 16-10 collectively. Strangely enough only one of the four double shock picks came through and covered. We need to try it again lol. Unconfident Darrell and Blueboss both went a perfect three for three this week! I’ll post an updated season standings shortly; check out the new leader at the top.

Re: Pick the favorite Nov. 2nd weekend (Double Shock Power!)
Well, Memphis barely covered, so more lucky than good this week. Reason for my lack of confidence, notwithstanding the "win" lol.
I forgot whether they were favored by 5.5 or 6.5, and when I saw SMU score a touchdown late to cut the lead to 8, I thought, "well, they'll make the extra point, and cut the lead to 7, and Memphis will still cover." When I saw them line up and go for two--wow. I was shocked. And then ran to the board to see what the line was. I bet that little two-point conversion at the end of the game cost some people some real money.
