VEEP visits Gallatin Valley

VP Pence, surrounded by a dozen MHP cars, dozens of SUVs, an ambulance, 3 blackhawk copters all to guard him from a few Gallatin Valley farmers, sped by me on rural 2-lane Alaska road today, my guess is to escort the real Jeffrey Epstein to a Yellowstone Club hideout...your guess?

The ostentatious fearful contempt for Montanans pissed me off, so, not knowing who it was, I flipped off the non trooper portion of the motorcade. Still angry.

I watched a Smithsonian program that is all shot from the air for a 60 min narrated documentary of Montana last night. Absolutely beautiful scenery, and they did about 5 mins on Bozeman. I did not see you on the streets so I almost turned it off.

If it makes you feel any better they blocked off wide swaths of Lexington and Fayette county when Trump went to Richmond. I think they're taking security extra special serious these days. They shut down New Circle and all cross roads for an hour or so each way when he came and went. All but closed half the city.

Besides, have you seen the kinds of people they elect to office in Montana? Hard to blame them for being nervous.... (j/k of course)

That isn’t “increased security” it is “ostentatious in your face common people” display worthy or a third world dictator.

It does seem over the top, esp. for the population density. And insanely expensive.

But it does sound like they left the road open. For the President the shut down the whole road.
