I did not know which tid bit to believe. So I picked the one I found to be the most odd. Or maybe I just read it wrong, but what you see there is a copy and paste from the article

You're reading it wrong...what you posted says it is the
"6,731,736th Most Common Surname in the World"
Most prevalent in Cambodia
I just took out the spacing to be easier to read.
The "th" is the giveaway.
The name is a Cambodian name, hence, that's where it is most prevalent.

I'm guessing there's a Chinese or Indian name on top? Maybe? I don't know. Maybe it is Smith.
I'd like to see a top 10 list. And a top 10 American list. Smith, Jones, Williams? I don't know what it would be, but it would be interesting.
