    * Play KSR Hall of Fame Game Contest: Kentucky v VMI *

    1. Predict the Kentucky margin of victory (+) OR loss (-). If you believe that Kentucky will lose, make sure that you make it clearly known with a -- [minus sign], or something else.

    2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point.

    3. OVER/UNDER 124: The five Kentucky starters combine minutes last game was 124. That's your over/under--will the 5 starters today (whoever they are) combine for OVER or UNDER 124 minutes, and by how many?

    4. Don't be a square, P.J. Today we're going to look at P.J. Washington's PAR, but take the square root of it for our number. That's the Square Root of (Points + Assists + Rebounds). A couple of examples for guidelines. The square root of 50 is 7.07. The square root of 30 is 5.48. The square root of 9 is 3 . (Recommend you take it to two decimals, but don't have to.)

Tie Breaker: Free Throw percentage by the Cats today.

    Good luck!

No great picks on the score here, but Doc's was "good enough," as Cats win by 10. First point here to the closest bad pick!

Parham with 10 3-pointers in Rupp and 35 points led all scorers, and nobody picked him, so no point awarded.

    PJ 33, EJ 16, KJ 25, IQ 27, Herro 19 = 120, which is UNDER, 4

I use ESPN's box, and interpret Blueboss's as UNDER, 5½, which nips two others by a half minute for the point.

Hmm. PJ's PAR, according to ESPN was 19 points, 3 assists, and 18 rebounds. I know he had 19, didn't he?

Square root of 40 is 6.325. Square root of 41 is 6.403.

Either way, Harlow is closest so it doesn't matter, and point awarded here.

3-way tie goes to the tiebreaker.

Doc with the tiebreaker win, as Cats knock down 29-35, 82.9%, and his 76% was a very, very good pick.
